I love my job—really I do. But...sometimes I'd just rather stay home in my pajamas all day.

Out of the first 11 days of NaBloPoMo, I've had 10 of them off of work. I go back on Tuesday. I'm going to have to be really diligent about making sure I get my posts done in the morning during the week for the rest of the month. Three days a week I won't get home from work until around 10 pm and although that's plenty of time to post before the end of the day, I'd rather not risk it. Something would come up—recordings of NBC's Thursday night line up!—Sleep!—something would thwart me. My good intentions would be crushed.

As usual I have waited until the last moment to get ready to go back. I have syllabi to update and project due dates to be changed. I need to finish that—and my glass of wine. Today's post will be short. Enjoy your Sunday evening (or your Monday).

Dear blog,
I know I've been neglecting you lately. And when I do visit? It's just for a quickie and never fulfilling anymore. It's not you it's me. I have a new life now and making time for more then a fleeting moment with you just isn't easy anymore.

I have so much to say but when I get a moment to write it all down...well, it's gone. Shall we take a look at what post gems you've been missing?
