This is a picture of my father and I from the eighties. From the looks of it, I'd put my money on 1983 or '84.
Let me point a few items out for you.
- My Dad and I both look like dorks. I look like Shirley Temple with that perm and the little red bow.
- Look at that shirt I'm sporting! Nice pattern.
- My socks rocked. I remember them well. Black with silk-screened bams, pows, and zaps.
- Look at that picture of me on the wall. Aren't I a cutie?
- It's a Polaroid! How awesome is that? Who takes Polaroids anymore that don't involve little kids with costumed holiday icons?

Ha, I love the huge picture of yourself on the wall. This is like a Fathead™ shot of you. So cool.
awww I love old pics! I think I had the same perm.
Ehm... there was no need to point out those few items... they were all pretty obvious... ;-)
egan—Who you callin' a fathead?
mel—My Dad even had a perm like that!
dutchy—You have super vision if you can see the detail on my socks. ;)
I love old pictures like this because if you look close you can see all the qualities that made you who you are today.
Polaroids are awesome!! And the socks- I can't see the pattern :( Oh and the early 80's were awesome too. LOL
We took Calem for pictures with a costumed holiday icon in the mall, and even that wasn't Polaroid anymore. All digital.
