Cutting it close

11:20—Crap. I'm running out of time.
11:21—Crap. Crap. Crap. What should I write about?

I woke up this morning knowing that I had a 13 hour work day ahead of me and no shower available to wake me up and start off my day. I didn't let it bother me. My just-washed-in-the-kitchen-sink hair looked FABULOUS after drying it. Awesome. My classes were great. A lot of enthusiasm running through the students. When I got home around 10:00 JQ was still beaming from the guitar ensemble concert he had performed in tonight. As he recapped the concert, his stories had us both cracking up. I wish I could have been there to see it. I'm so happy for him. All the stress leading up to the concert—it can play tricks on you. He was even complemented by one of his instructors on his solo. ROCKIN'!

11:33—It was a good day.

My mom always washes her hair in the kitchen sink, and always has. Most of us do that, too, if the hair needs washing before shower time.

It's my grandmother who refuses to allow hair in her kitchen- no hair-washing in the sink, hang over the side of the tub, please, and don't even THINK about brushing your hair while standing in her kitchen talking to her or any other relative.

I used to wash my hair in the sink until college. Wow, I haven;t thought of that in a while.

I love you, you make me smile. Hey, can we get JQ to post a little vid of him jamming on his guitar? :)
