You should have seen my armpits earlier today

We are very, very close to having a shower again. This makes me so happy. Some caulk, a bit of paint and putting on the faucet/handles is all that stands between me and a shower in my own home again. I have no words to express the joy I feel when I stand in the bathroom. It's like I've just taken a really satisfying shit—without any of the stink.

Friday afternoon. Watching the glue dry.

Looks awesome! I can't quite tell from the picture, but it looks like you went with a 3-piece unit? Did you use a window trim kit? Details, woman, I need details!

And I know exactly what you mean about taking a satisfying shit. Sometimes those are better than sex.

I am laughing because I just had this conversation with my husband today, about the satisfying shit. Ah the things we talk about with those we love.

The shower looks great! So where have you been showering all this time? Or do you have a two week stink going on now? :)

Your shit stinks? Mine doesn't.

You had me at "you should have seen my armpits earlier today"... but I fell in love when you talking about the satisfying shit. :)

(Makes me think of this line from The Fisher King: "I was having one of those incredible bowel movements, you know, the ones that borderline on the mystical? When all of the sudden I saw hundreds of the cutest, floating little fat people!" Guess you had to have seen the movie.)

cindy mom—I kiss my Mother with that mouth too.

nobody—Relax, relax. It is a 3-piece unit. A 50 inch center panel with 6 inch overlaps. The window is finished with pieces cut from the window scrap of the center panel. It was finished with white silicone caulk. I took my first shower today and it was glorious. Is that too much detail?

vp—That's hilarious about the poop talk. We showered at my Grandma's, JQ's parents, and a close friend's house. Up until Saturday I hadn't had a proper shower in 6 days. Yum.

christina—A huge relief!

naynay—Oh yeah? Well you haven't read Twilight yet, so there.

cruel shoes—I'm such a classy, classy lady. And I have seen The Fisher King. It's been a long time though. Too long now that you mention it.
