I got all 8 right. So did one other blogger. Since he "pink puffy hearts" both of us we each got the fabulous prize: a $25.00 gift certificate to iTunes.
So, now I've got 25 songs to pick out for my listening pleasure. I'm going to get a shameful song most wouldn't admit to have ever liked (Wild Wild West by the Escape Club) and Footloose as a sort of homage to the contest (it was one of the answers). We're also going to get I Wish by Stevie Wonder. That leaves 22 songs.
I want to know what you would recommend. So answer me these two questions:
- What song says *pixie* to you?
- What is one song you would recommend to all your friends?

I admit to liking "Wild Wild West" LOL
1. "One Night in Bangkok" by Murray Head.
2. "Everybody Knows" by either Concrete Blonde or Don Henley.
Oh, I loooove "Wild Wild West." And "One Night in Bangkok." Oh, and "Give Me Just a Little More Time."
I'm going to go download them now. Andrew got me an iTunes gift card for my birthday. Thanks for the reminder, Pixie!!
BIG DAD SAYS JAMIES CRYING BY VAN HALEN OR ANY OZZY OH YEAH LOVE YA KID GIVE LITTLE G A KISS FOR ME
Congratulations on your win! I think you should definately get Meatloaf's "Paradise By The Dashboard Light."
Awesome, awesome song. Don't be embarrassed. I loves it, too. I have had it forever. It is one of my anthems. I wish iTunes would get the 2006 remix that Escape Club has of it on their Myspace Page. It's GOOD!
I'm not sure what songs say "Pixie" to me, but I am really liking Shiny Toy Guns' "Le Disko" right now, and also Girls Aloud "Something Kind of Ooh". My friends are all hooked on Paula DeAnda's "Easy"... You can preview 'em at YouTube, if you want.
Rockin' prize from Fab, I gotta say.
Oh, "Breathing Light" by Nitin Sawhe, is really moving, too.
mr. fab—"One Night in Bangkok"? Interesting. I already have "Everybody Knows". Fantastic song.
christina—Go have that baby already would ya?
dad—"Jamie's Cryin'" always reminds me of you. Don't be afraid to turn the caps lock off either.
vp—That song reminds me of a painful karaoke experience with my BIL many, many years ago. "Stop right there..."
Shades—I don't know ANY of those people you mentioned.
I didn't expect you to. That's kind of why I suggested them. I'm having more fun with Australian and European groups these days- the other countries always have all of the good stuff... anyway, I picked the first 3 because the beat/sound is similar to "Wild, Wild West" and that's the direction you got me thinking in. The fourth one is just so completely opposite and also really pretty and soothing that I had to throw it in.
