such a flake

Now that it's December and the weather is cooling substantially for some of us, I thought I'd share a fun little link with all of you. Growing up you've probably made a paper snowflake or two over the years. Now you can do it digitally without any mess of all those tiny pieces of paper to clean up. Check out Make-a-Flake to give it a whirl.

You take the scissors and click, click, click away little sections of the folded paper. Like this:

Once you're done, click on the preview flake button to see your masterpiece. That cutting produced this lovely flake.

Then you can put your flake in the gallery or email it to yourself or all your friends to ooh and ahh over your creation.

Edited to add: Here's Josh's first attempt at a snowflake. How awesome is this?
