blog appreciation day

Apparantly, Citizen of the Month has deemed today, Blog Appreciation Day. At least I think I read that right. I found out about it over at Postcards from Somewhere, and from what I've read, CotM wants all willing and able bloggers to take a picture of a blog you read while holding a copy of your hometown paper. It must be in the cards because today, I just happen to have a copy of yesterday's paper—which we rarely read. So here is my picture—click on it for a much larger and better view. While you're at it, admire my extensive dock at the bottom of my screen and notice the ominous looking Dwight Scrute peering over the top left edge of the laptop.

It's the blog of the one and only Fuzzy Muffin. I chose Fuzzy because she lives way over in Liverpool and is perhaps the farthest away blogger I know. She reads mine, I read hers and she is a lovely lass that would undoubtably be a treat to meet in real life.

Dwight looks like he wants to kill your family.

pyxis—Very 3rd grade, but very true!

Alex—Dwight better keep his no eyelid having self away from my family or I'll knock his little bobbly head right back to Scranton.

So when did Liverpool move to the right side of Dutchyland? I'm confused... Was there a landslide... an earthquake?

;-)

Shit. Sorry Dutchy, you slipped my mind. In my defense, I did say "perhaps the farthest" and my geography skills suck ass. I probably couldn't identify all the proper locations of the 50 states here either.

Aww shucks! you're so sweet.

Can I do that tomorrow? 'cause it's a bit too late now. nowhere to get a paper.

Fuzzy—you can do it anytime you want. And I bet it would even be okay if you shot the picture without the paper. After all, we know where you live already.

I'm in Bury at the moment so I could get the Bury times...

I think I'm doing 100 things for the hundredth post though, that's why it's taking so long. I'm up to 65 and I've kind of run out of things to say about myself!

Understandable, I thought the hundred things post was difficult too. I had to do one line sentances and really dig deep to get them all in. I think I talked about the kind of food I like and other mundane topics.

I'm gonna go and read it now 'cause I'm not sure I read yours

I think she's a lovely lass too. I think I've missed out on Blog Appreciation day though! :(
