First off, I'd like to thank all of you for the kind words regarding yesterday's post. You all really know how to make a girl feel good. Mr. "J. Blunt"—I know your true identity and it's your comment that means the most to me.
I've started participating in the Blog Olympics Training Camps. So far I done 2 events and won Silver medals in each. Check them out over in my sidebar. Very fun and easy. Give it a try—they're on the 1st and 15th of each month. For more info, click on the blog olympics button.
Last night my SIL came over to spend some time with Josh and I. I made dinner—grilled spice rubbed pork loin cutlets, stuffing, and green beans—and then played a makeshift game of snatch! Kelwhy—I totally used your idea of playing with the Scrabble tiles. It is AWESOME! We played three rounds and I kicked ass. I won each round and finished the game with a score of 67 (compared to their 42 & 39). That's an average of 22 points a round. We all liked it and will play again for sure. The Scrabble tiles were a great idea—since it's a word game too.
Josh is out golfing right now and then we are off to the farmer's market, then resetting the back patio, and some other odds and ends. Our cherry tree is full of fruit that I need to pick. They're sour cherries so I'm going to brandy them. Yum! Later this afternoon/early evening my brother is coming over to spend the night with us. It's going to be another fabulous weekend.
Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all of you fathers—old and new!

Was J. Blunt your husband? If so, that is really sweet. If not, it is still a wonderful comment. I really liked that song before they started playing it every 5 minutes on my station.
Sounds like you have a terrific weekend planned!
Lynda—I'm pretty sure it was. He reads my blog when he gets up in the morning and that comment was from 6:11 this morning—he was up getting ready to go golf. That, along with the fact that we heard two parodies of You're Beautiful yesterday and it's been in our heads, leads me to believe it's him. If not, then I've made a terrible mistake in my post—because is his compliments that mean the most to me (in person especially).
OH!
Now I want a cherry tree.
