I forgot to take a picture of our dinner yesterday for my Sunday Dinners post. JQ and I went to a classic pianist recital and when we got home I was rushing around to make dinner and totally forgot about taking photographs. I didn't remember until we were finished and the dirty dishes were in the sink. Lucky for all of you I used my mad skills to render an incredibly realistic illustration of what we ate.
Nice, huh? This week I'm thankful for the fact that I finished up my grades and turned them in before the weekend started. What a relief to not have that looming over me these past few days.
How about you? What are you thankful for this week?

YUM! I love veal. I'll be over next time you have it.
Nobody—I wondered if people would be disgusted that I'm eating veal. Glad to see we aren't alone in this world.
A lot of people don't seem to like it, but it's delicious. I don't care where it comes from. They used to have it at The Olive Garden but I think they stopped serving it there.
So, do you have a recipe for veal parmesan? I can't stop thinking about how good that stuff is..
And what's the deal with rice cookers? I've seen them for sale on newegg.com, makes me think I'm missing out by not having one.
Nobody—Go to store. Find freezer section. Get veal. Take home. Bake. Top with cheese and bake some more. Serve. :)
We love our rice cooker. You just toss the water and rice in the pot, plug it in and hit the button. It makes perfect rice and keeps it hot for hours. Ours also came with a steamer basket that you can incorporate and steam veg/fish/etc at the same time as you cook the rice.
I guess i can handle that..
Damn, now I want a rice cooker!
That looks delicious, I would love to have some! :)
