We take our fort making seriously around here

Tuesday night JQ and I made a fort for G-tot. It was so cool that we left it up until this afternoon. We love making forts. Whether they are simple forts made out of just the cushion of the overstuffed chair or elaborate forts like the one we made the other day—they just rock. G-tot thinks they are awesome and squeals with delight when he realizes what is going on.

Last night—after eating too much—the three of us snuggled up in our fort and proceeded to fall asleep. At 8 o'clock. I woke up two hours later. If it wasn't for the fact that I thought G-tot should sleep in his own bed, I'd probably would have stayed there all night.

Yep, forts are awesome. Don't you think?

That is the coolest thing ever!! I have not made a fort in so long, I do believe I will have to remedy that soon.

Tim—Oddly, I felt it wasn't the best I could do. If I just had a few more supplies…

VP—Make a fort and then watch a movie from inside it. Don't forget the popcorn!

Nobody—We're alright.

Cruel Shoes—Aww…thanks. You have no idea how much this comment made me smile this morning.

Naynay—Well, since you are potty trained, I don't see why not. I will have to claim you on my taxes though.

Awesome!! I just watched "The Holiday" last weekend, and your fort puts theirs to shame ;)

Love the pic of G-tot peeking up with his sippy cup.

SWG—I just talked with a colleague last night who said he's never built a fort in his living room. How is that even possible?
