new music wanted—help!

It's that time again. I'm looking for some new music to put on my iPod and I need your help.

What is one of your all time favorite songs?
What is one newish song that you just can't get enough of?

I hope you get good suggestions because I'm getting tired of my music too.

Only semi recent song I've dug has been Sittin at a Bar (Bartender Song) by Rehab.

Ooo I love these types of posts! Funny, I was going to send you some CDs but wasn't sure if you were into my type of music. We can use this comment as a base.

New song I love: "Mercy" by Duffy.

Song I can't get out of my head: "Do You Know (The Ping Pong Song)" by Enrique Eglasius (that is NOT how to spell his last name but I am too lazy to look it up)

Song I just added to my iPod today: the new Leona Lewis, not "Bleeding Love" (which is awesome, but the new one. So new I can't think of the name.

Check those out and let me know if I should send you some CDs and confer with Shades. She has gotten a TON of CDs from me and can tell you if my music tastes are insane. :)

I remembered! Leona Lewis Song, "Better in Time." Also check out Chris Brown's "Dreamer."

Right now I can't seem to get enough of "Home" by Bobaflex.

Lately I've been mostly listening to 90's alternative and grunge on satellite radio.

Lately I've been stuck on "luckiest man" by the Wood Brothers- definitely something you and Josh would enjoy too

Check out the new REM album. It is muy bueno.

Ummmmm, new stuff, huh? I haven't bought anything new. Well, actually Extreme has a new album out; first one in 14 years or something like that. I am not really into any new stuff though. I may need some help too actually! :)

I love songs by The Fray, like "Look After You" and "How To Save A Life" but they're both not shockingly new ones...

LOL! I second "Sittin at a Bar". It's an awesome song!

Ditto the The Fray suggestion, as well.

And Leona Lewis.
Sara Barielles
Duffy
Goldfrapp
Portishead
KT Tunstall
Kate Nash
Feist
Colbie Callait
Brooke Fraser

Alana Grace has some stuff I've been digging, lately. You can listen to it all on her Myspace page.

Also, Alexz Johnson.

The new Rick Springfield album.

I've been listening to alot of Annie Lennox/Eurythmics, lately: Into the West, Anything But Strong, Seventeen Again, A Thousand Beautiful Things, Little Bird;

Sting: Moonlight, A Thousand Years, Why Should I Cry for You.

The latest Maroon 5 is really good.

Shawn Mullins has had some great stuff out since "Lullabye" back in the day...

The soundtracks to both of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies kick ass.

Bonnie Raitt's version of "Baby Mine" is really nice.

I should just send you a cd...
