handmade...sorta

I made G-man a few shirts this weekend. It started with the one for his birthday. I didn't want to be wasteful of the material so I did a few more. I think they turned out great and will be doing many, many more. I have so many ideas. Once I see how they hold up in the wash I'm going to work on some new designs. What do you think?

Very very cool. Did you make iron on transfers with Photoshop?

I'm impressed! Good job. :-)

LOVE them!

Ya know, I didn't even notice G-Man's "1" shirt until you pointed it out. I stink.

You on the other hand, do not stink. You rock! I love those shirts! If you made one with an "A" on it and a "2" on it, I would buy them from you. I think you could have a little business on the side. For reals.

chardy may—I used Illustrator. It's more flexible with non-photographic images than Photoshop.

kim—Thanks. It was fun.

shades—Do you still wear that Kansas shirt I designed for you?

naynay—What size is Aiden? I'll let you in on a little secret...I'm hoping to get a small side business started up here soon. Thanks for the confidence boost!

He might just be the cutest kid ever.

I didn't even think anything of the shirts. I thought it was probably something you bought.

They look great!

You are amazing baby!

mr. fab—I think he is the cutest kid ever. Obviously, this is an unbiased opinion. So, it must be true.

lynda—The question is, would it be something other people would buy?

jq—So are you!

I would buy one for sure. What price are you thinking?

Awesome!

It appears that I'm way too big to fit into them, so I'll have to take a pass on buying one :)

You're welcome. They're really cute. Aiden is wearing 18 months. He is 20 months and is a big boy so maybe you should go with a 2t?

I meant to write Aidan, with an "a" at the end. I wrote what you wrote, haha. Oops. I don't even know how to spell my own nephew's name. Oy, I need a nap!

chardy may—I'll get back to you on that one. I have to check my overhead costs first.

nobody—Maybe, just maybe one day they'll come in your size.

mike—Thanks.

naynay—I'll look into it.

naynay—I hope you got that nap...

Love the shirts, you are so creative! Are they iron-on?

Holly {ArtistMotherTeacher} said...

kym—They are iron-on right now. I want to learn how to do some screen printing soon and I'll switch over after that.

Cute idea. I would buy one, if I had kiddos. When the pics coming up?

Pretty cool. Do you have adult sizes? My last name is Gross, so that would make me cool and trendy.

Holly {ArtistMotherTeacher} said...

s. alley—I know, I know, I've got to get them up soon.

tf—I could have any size. M? L?

The shirts are cool! I like how G is sportin' a male model facial expression in the last photo... good to see he is developing his sense of wry irony early. ;)

Ooh, did you say you designed a Kansas shirt for Shades? I want a Kansas shirt, too! I'm a fan of her dog. Actually, I need three shirts, two for Indy and Hailie, because they're probably bigger fans than I am.

Hay I need a Kansas shirt too! And maybe you could make ones with my girls one it! Oh the possibilities are endless when you have a talented blogger friend! You need to start your own business. You could make some serious cash off of us!
