tf—It refers to food that is spicy, that is herbaceous, (not necessarily hot) as opposed to sweet. I don't think I've ever had a Pink Lady apple. I like Jonathons. Crisp, tart, and good with PB. I'll look for the Pink Lady next time I'm at the fruit market—I don't like to buy them from the grocers. They're always too grainy there.
I've got a sweet tooth. Cookies are my weakness, especially big old chocolate chip cookies (not puny chips ahoy or anything of that ilk, OH NO) and these horrible, deadly frosted sugar cookies the supermarket down the street sells.
But I agree with you about apples. I love those, too. And it sucks because here in Phoenix, there are no real farm markets or anywhere to get good, fresh fruit, so all we have are grainy apples--this means I eat Granny Smith all the time b/c they are the least likely to be grainy or mushy. I yearn for those crisp, juicy, tart apples I used to get in NJ. If you have access to good apples, count your blessings! :)
I like salty snacks. I love nuts especially almonds and peanuts in the shell. I also like the oriental mix with the dried peas, rice crackers and spicy stick thingies. Yummmo!

1. What does savory mean? I thought it meant "tasty." I want my snacks to be tasty, all the time.
2. Pink Lady Apples. Hands down the world's greatest apple. No contest. Sweet, juicy, and crisp. Give 'em a try.
