point two

.2

Who would have thought such a small increment could be so disappointing. Up .2 pounds. I thought for sure I would be down. The scale at home looked promising. I jumped in the shower and got G together.

I'll meet my Mom over at Weight Watchers. Why not? I missed Monday's meeting since I had to take G to the doctor's. I should go today so I don't miss an entire week. Plus, it will motivate me to pay attention through the weekend.

That was my thought process this morning. It all went downhill from there. Construction. Construction. Construction. Ugg! Brush it off. You're going to have a great weigh-in.

Not so much. Up .2 pounds. Which really? Is nothing. I just hate to see the scale going up. Again. And again. And...well you get the picture. I really shouldn't be surprised. Especially since I ate not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 pieces of pizza for dinner last night. Dinner that doesn't even occur until after 8 pm.

I've got to get back on the ball. Thirteen pounds until I'm back at goal.

Yeah, you'll get there. Pizza sounds really good right now.

if you would have just sneezed before getting on the scale you'd have been even. And that's really not bad considering 4 pieces of pizza the night before.

You should have peed before you weighed in...then you would have been even or down.

You are doing great - it's hard work!

You are doing so well, don't give up hope now! You will make it, I know it. And I'm with fantastagirl, that sounds like a full bladder to me.

I always eat 4 pieces of pizza, especially if it was a frozen pizza.

I have GOT to get that number down to 2. Let's just say my scale went up a lot more than .2 pounds the last time I stepped on it. Anyway, I applaud your efforts and wish you luck. You're gonna do it! :)

Pixie:

You just had a baby! Of course you're not losing weight! Are you still nursing? I heard someone say once that it takes nine months to put all that weight on and at least nine months to take it off. Plus, pizza is salty. That 2 is just water, kiddo.

It's me. Today, I feel your pain. I was up 0.2. I did not have any specific expectations, since I wasn't totally OP. BUT, it is amazing how disappointing that little, tiny, itty-bitty number can be.

However, I know what I can do differently, and I am ready (if not a little nervous) to start a new WW week.

I CAN DO THIS! We BOTH CAN!

ac(w)—Monday I was back down. Just like that. Even after the Arby's on Friday.
