little bunny foo foo

Finish this one:*

Little Bunny Foo Foo went hopping through the forest,
Scooping up the field mice...

Do you know it? Have you known it for a long time. Or are you like me—31 and asking Josh a few weeks ago, "What the hell are you singing?"?** Did you know there are choreographed moves to go along with it?

Christina & Egan: If you don't know it you must learn it for the children. Do it for the children, won't you?

*If I know you in real life and we've already talked about it, you cannot play along. I know you know.

**That's a whole lot of punctuation there.

And bopping on the head!!

Of course I know, that's a classic! My girls all know it too, we've sang it many times. Although, when you think about it, it's kinda violent. But we still sing it! ;)

Cute haircut, by the way!

Um, I don't know this one. I just get out the guitar and harmonica and make our own songs up, like "Let's Play the cleanup game, the cleanup game, the cleanup game. Let's play the cleanup game and put away all our toys." My kid loves it and always cleans her s**t up when I play that.

Cookie: "...little bunny foo foo, I don't want to see you, scoopin' up the field mice and boppin' them on the head." (...and you would make the scooping motion with one hand and then 'bop' your hand onto the other)

Ever sing "Rise and Shine"? It's the Noah's Ark song with the floody-floody and getting the animals out of the muddy-muddy...?

LOL! I still sing this song! My mom sang it to me when I was little and it would crack me up! I still can't sing it without laughing. I know it without the word "went" in the first verse, though.

And I concur with everyone elses' finished sentences. Except for Lynda's- I'm not familliar with that version.

And Lisa's suggestion of "Rise and Shine" has got me laughing all over again, because I know that song, too... except that our version was "GET THOSE CHILDREN! out of the muddy, muddy children of the world."

Which now makes absolutely NO sense- for the first time in my life.

... and she says... I'll give you three more chances and then I'll turn you into a "gooooo". (I don't know what this word is supposed to be.)

repeat until little bunny foo foo is turned into a "goooo"

Tink LOVES this song and sings it on the way to daycare, on the way home in the store, well you get the picture. She does the hand motions as well.

Out of seven responses, only one of you didn't know it.

All the ladies (even those without kids knew it). The one guy who responded didn't (and he has a 2 year old).

Fantastagirl—It's "goon". I'll turn you into a goon.

Moral of the story: Hare today, goon tomorrow. Ha!

"And bopping 'em on the head!"

Quite barbaric actually but I know it and the hand motions. The real test is if you know all the extra stuff with the fairy of the woods chiding little bunny foo foo.
