the giant

I am so digging this shot. Josh looks like a giant from this perspective with Gideon's little foot in his hand. It's full of striking contrasts: hand/foot, child/adult, tan/pale, soft/callus. I like all the diagonal lines and the opposition of Josh's hand and the crack in the sidewalk to the rest of the photo. The way it moves from light to dark (left to right) works well too. Not a planned shot but one of my favorites this week.

Great picture.

And just think, someday Gideon might be bigger than his dad.

That is a very interesting shot. I didn't notice all of those things until you mentioned them.

Interesting picture. I also noticed the baby foot looks huge compared to the sandals on the ground.

Pixie:
I just love me some baby feet. I put Georgias feet in my mouth I loved em so much. Is that wierd? Oh well, I guess when ya birth 'em yer entitled to suck on their itty bitty toes, right?

Leezer—Not weird at all. I eat Gideon's feet all the time. They are just so delicious.

Lynda—We noticed that too. That's what makes Josh look like he is so tall.

Very cool shot. I think it'd look good in black and white and framed.
