So...if one remembers to pack plenty of breast milk for the babysitter but forgets to pack a bottle to serve the milk in, can that person still be up for Mother of the Year?

Your babysitter needs a gift of spare bottles, it sounds like.
Sounds like you are a true mom!
(we solved this problem, by leaving a set of bottles at the sitters, and I always had an extra clean bottle in the diaper bag - forget once, and you learn to have spares....then the trick is remembering to replace the "spare" when you use it!)
What was the breast milk you packed in? I have visions of you carrying plastic bags full of milk!
Yeah, that is pretty forgivable. If you packed margarita mix left over from the weekend by accident, then that would be a problem.
As long as you left a Krazy Straw™ for use in the consumption of said breast milk.

Lynda—She went and got some that day.
Fuzzy—Actually I do use bags. Specially designed milk bags. I also use bottles. They either don't have nipples or we don't like the nipples. Were quite particular about the bottle.
