breakfast burritos

Breakfast + Taco Bell = Wrong

Taco Bell is now serving breakfast foods. Does anyone else think this is wrong? The only A.M. hours you should eat Taco Bell occur between 12:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.* Even that's questionable. Toledo is one of only 4 areas testing these new culinary delights, so if you aren't one of the lucky four, umm...sorry?

*Should there be another period after a.m.? The question mark looks right, but I'm not so sure about a period.

I do. I think it's so wrong. Mexican food or not, Taco Bell should not be open during breakfast time. I saw that commercial a few weeks ago, and died a little inside.

But then, I'm from TX where everyone thinks breakfast tacos should only be made at home, and I had a teenage hissy fit 15 years ago when people started selling them in restaurants, on roadside stands, etc...

See, I'd never heard of them until my mom started making them, so then I felt like she'd invented them. Boy was I crushed when the entire immigrant Mexican nation brought them to the attention of the masses.

I'd eat that.

I like Taco Bell, but Taco John's is by far superior.

I'm not big on Taco Bell unless I've been drinking. Which is hardly ever. Breakfast sounds like an odd offering, but I'm not the greatest judge. Don't think I would try it though.

I'd eat their regular menu items for breakfast, but I don't need no stinkin' breakfast burritos.

Jen—A homemade breakfast burritto is one thing, but a TBbb is a whole different entity and probably hard on the stomach.

Nobody—We don't have Taco John's around here.

Julie—I'm with you, not sure, but no thanks.

Blogarita—hehe...I love Blazing Saddles.

Taco Bell's in California use to sell breakfast burritos. I don't really care for egg all the time, and I thought it was kind of gross.

Personally, if Taco Bell was open in the a.m., I would much rather have a bean burrito, but I am gross that way. (I could eat a hamburger for breakfast too!)

We don't have Taco Bell. And there are too many periods in that post about food.

I agree, Taco Bell is like Dominos. It is only good if you are drunk at 1 a.m. Other than that, eat real Mexican Food.

No, just one period after a.m. is correct in this case. Despite what you might think regarding the mistakes I allow on my blog and comments, I do this stuff for a living. :)

I wouldn't eat Taco Bell for breakfast either; it does just seem wrong. Next thing you know Pizza Hut will have a breakfast pizza or something. Meh.

There are Taco John's in Iowa, and when Greg took me there one of the first places we went was Taco John's so I could try their Potato Oles. And they WERE really tasty. Plus it's fun to say "Potato Oles" (I can't figure out how to do that accent mark so the "oles" is pronounced "olays").

Periods can be so confusing and unpredictable.

I'm from the Dallas area & Taco Bueno has recently started offering breakfast items as well. I already get breakfast burritos (taquitos) at Whataburger or Sonic, so I see no need to try Bueno's...

Did I mention how cute I think your kid is lately??
