presents

A special thanks to both Egan and Mr. & Mrs. Nobody.

When we got home from the hospital on the 27th, there was a little envelope from Monkey Boy in the mail. Enclosed was a nice note and the notorious iPod sock. If you aren't familiar with Egan's tactics, he seems to offer up the iPod sock as a prize quite often, but never delivers. It's a little game he likes to play. Well, way back in October I correctly guessed his Halloween costume and unknowingly anticipated a prize. Which I wouldn't receive—until now. We are now in possession of the coveted iPod sock.

Last week we received another gift in the mail—this time from Mr. & Mrs. Nobody. A very unexpected and generous gift card from Target. I was so surprised to get something addressed to *pixie* from Target and was even more surprised to find such a thoughtful gift enclosed. We will get great use out of it and will be thinking of you both when we go shopping.

Thanks so much to all of three of you for your kindness and generosity—we are obviously taken aback by the kindness of the blogsphere.

Ahhh! Oh wow, he is gorgeous. He looks like he's thinking, "Oh no you don't! You are NOT getting this Target card...I've got my eye on you."

With all the snow you got recently I wasn't sure if the sock would make it or not. The boy and light blue iPod sock seem to go well together.

I think it's time for me to buy another pack of iPod socks to tease giddy readers. Thanks for being such a great sport. I do love this picture very much. Gideon looks possessive of his new toys.
