signs

About 45 minutes ago, while I was in the kitchen mixing up a butter cake to bake, Mr. Pixie was clearing out the coat closet in the living room to make room for our sweet stroller. He took some things downstairs to the unfinished side of the basement and when he came back up he asked me the oddest question. He wanted to know if I had ever noticed the little sign that was on the i-beam on that side of the basement. We've lived in our house just over a year and I had no idea what he was talking about, so I had to go down and see.

When we got down there he pointed to a super conspicuous little metal sign up on the i-beam on the right side of our basement. We don't know how long it's been there, but it couldn't have been there for long because one of us would have surely noticed it. Neither one of us have any idea how it got there but we both think it's super cool. I'm sure it will remain a fixture down there for a very long time.

I think it offers some pretty good advice.

That is strange. How could you have missed that? How did it get there? Who would roller skate on the ceiling?

So roller skating on the walls and floor will be acceptable, I'm good with that.

Who has been in your house lately?

Wow, that is all kinds of weird! Wonder where that came from....

Love the ping pong table!

I think it was ghosts that left it.

Nobody—That's what we're trying to figure out.

Fantastagirl—We discussed who has been here and who might leave such a token.

Chuck—Ping pong is so fun! Although, with my current state I haven't played in awhile.

Blogarita—Could be.

OMG! I gotta have a sign like that with The Kid's track record!

I love it! I've always wanted to be able to do that!

Ooh. I want one. If you ever get the basement finished, you should have that framed out and left exposed. It would add lots of character.

Pixie:
Little fairies left it. That or you have a friend with a good sense of humor.

I don't know. I tlooks like it has been there a while.

I love the warning though. But it sure takes away a lot of my fun.

Well, at least Lionel Richie is safe. He only dances on the ceiling.

Is it okay to breakdance on the ceiling? Gravity is overrated.
