Wow, we ALL checked. Now I don't feel so silly. I think we all have become a blogging "family" and don't want to be thrown out of it. I too want to take a few off (not anyone from here) but I have not gotten around to it. Tinapopo's blog is no more, so she is (sob sob) one of them. I will miss her blogs.
Maybe you have inspired me to do so.....
It's tough to pull the trigger on people. I have about the same number of links I need to get rid of, but for some reason I just don't do it.
Whewwwww, I'm still there! It's my old site but it still counts dammit! :)
The blogs I need to purge are ones owned by people I SEE on a regular basis; I never delete them because I'm not sure how I'll handle the topic when they ask me in person why I took them off. Sure, it's easy to say, "Because you never update" or "because you said something that deeply offended me," in writing here, just not out loud and to a very-close face. Argh.
I hope I was one of them.

we're all in need of feeling special, that's why we all checked to make sure it wasn't us.
i need to purge mine too. it's just that i'll delete one because someone seems to have disappeared, but then they come back and i have to update it again.
