I thought starting a baby blog would be a good idea because it would allow me to talk ad nauseum about my pregnancy while keeping my "regular" blog from becoming a "Mommy blog". Now I'm not so sure. While I am glad I have the two separate blogs—and now a third that my colleague and I have started for our student group—I feel as though I'm spreading my self thin when it comes to blog fodder.
Maybe I should get that book everyone keeps talking about. You know the one, "No One Cares What You Had for Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog". Then again, that just seems like a sellout to me. I mean, am I so dull that I can't come up with stuff to write about on my own?
No, it's just feels like my entire life is revolving around work and the pregnancy right now. As I suppose it will. Fall quarter is always extra busy and this whole pregnancy thing is so new and fascinating to me, that how can I not be extra involved with it? I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow that I'm super excited about—it seems like forever since I've heard the heartbeat. Of course "forever" really means a month, but so much has changed with my body since then that I'm excited to hear how things are going. Fall quarter is winding down and in just a few short weeks I'll have a week off and a new schedule to look forward to.
So, for now this is how it will be. My posts may be short and sporadic, but I will not combine the two blogs. I would love for you to pop in on both of them, but if you're anti-baby anything, then I understand. And, if you've bought and love the book, then let me know why I must have it—or just send me a copy.

Hey! You just post as much as you feel like it. We'll be over to read anyway! Blogs should not be a burden.
And I am with Fab: what did you have?
If you must know—Bob Evans. I was all about the variety so I had: Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Bread & Celery Dressing, Buttermilk Bisquit, and Mac & Cheese. It was so much food I brought half the entire meal (minus the M&C which I ate for dinner) home to Josh. Mmmmmm...

I'm the same way about my blog. People stopped coming because of the sporacidy (did I just make that up? I'm sure it's a word.) of my posting. I only post when I actually have something to say, not just to post for posting's sake. I still miss most of the time on my posts.
It is your blog, you post when you want to! And I'll still come by and read it when you do.
I think you should post what you want to. It is your blog. Plus, I have you on bloglines, so I will check up on you often. :)
