primetime it is not

When you are home in the middle of the afternoon and you don't have cable or satellite television, your choices get really limited. My options right now are:

CBS: The Young and the Restless
ABC: Who wants to be a millionaire?
NBC: "Turbo Jam" infomercial
PBS: Clifford's Puppy Days
FOX: KIA infomercial

You know what I decided to watch while I ate my lunch? Clifford's Puppy Days. That's the best choice in my opinion. Remember Clifford the big red dog? Well, apparantly during his puppy days he was tiny. We're talking no bigger than the hands of his little girl owner Emily Elizabeth. Looks like Clifford developed some sort of a thyroid problem in his later years.

I can totally relate to this. I do not have cable either. I don't even attempt to watch t.v. in the day time. I put on Rachel Ray's show this morning to check it out, and I wanted to yak.

Clifford is harmless and cute. Best thing about that show is, you don't have to deal with white trash DNA testing on that show.

Okay, I think I need to raise some funds for you so you can watch some HGTV or E! Let me see what I can do. Clifford must be an AARP doggie these days.

But how did Clifford get so big? Do we know? Was he on Gilligan's Island when the castaways grew the radio-active vegetables? I asked my five year old, but she just takes it at face value - the "willing suspension of disbelief."

Network TV - ahhhhhhhhhhhh! That will drop your IQ 50 points. You made the right choice. ;)

naynay—I agree about Rachel Ray. I saw part of her show the other day when she had Oprah on and she (RR) was driving me crazy.

Nobody—I felt the choice was obvious.

Egan—Should I set up a paypal account for you to deposit the money in?

Fantastagirl—You know what they say about great minds...

VoF—I'm not sure. The opening theme song says something about "God has a way of making things grow" or something to that effect. Go with Georgia and just believe.

Mike—We love PBS.
