crap

Crap. Crap. Crap. I've got so much to do today and completely lack the motivation to get started. Today is the day I've decided to start my Merit Review. The HUGE project/documentation/binder full of stuff praising myself that I have to do every year for work. Why? To prove whether or not I deserve more $$$. And lord knows, Momma needs more $$$ every year. Especially with the Wee One on the way. So, yeah, this is kind of important. And it's due next week. And I haven't started. Crap...

To add to that, I somehow managed to sleep in until 10:15 this morning. Waaaayy longer than I wanted too. Like 2 hours longer. Crap. Not that it wasn't nice and I obviously needed it since I was practically comatose, but that bit into my "work" time. I also have laundry to do, the house to pick up, and need to get something out for dinner. Oh, and last night, our light fixture in the kitchen fell out of the ceiling and crashed all over the floor. So, now we'll have to go buy a new light at some point this weekend.

Crap...

Pixie, pixie, pixie - you found time to talk to us! : )

Seriously, the housework will wait, spend some time on your project, you will feel better.

Do picking up when you need a break from project.

Love your work!

Crap. Sounds like you should be busy working instead of reading this crap.

All you need on the merit review is, "Dammit, I'm good and I deserve more money". How can they say no to that??

Mr. Fab— "Mr. Pixie" was the only one home at the time of the falling fixture. I myself was off teaching to the masses.

Light fixtures in kitchens are so overrated. If there is light, then they'll expect you to cook, and then you have to serve, clean it up - see - just leave the light fixture broken, and look how much time you saved....

I have been sleeping in too. Every night I go to bed and say, I am going to get up early tomorrow and do all the chores I have been neglecting. And every day I wake up too late with only enough time to eat and get ready for work. Probably because I have to stay up until 3:30 AM to see hubby come home.

Don't worry. Soon you'll have plenty of time for everything you need to do. Like in about 18 years.

Merit review, smerit review. Lord knows I hate doing things like that! Isn't it obvious if I am doing a good job? If I have to tell you what a good job I am doing, I must not be doing very well.
