maybe if I have a drink I'll think of something witty to blog about

I was bored. It's my blog. Now just read, comment, and pilfer if you'd like.

Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says.
They have become overly complicated and obscure, or so...
Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
A copy of a short story Josh wrote that is being edited & revised.
What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Seinfeld last night while falling asleep.
Without looking, guess what time it is:
5:15 pm.
Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
5:23 pm
With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Birds and street traffic
When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
Within the hour. I was coming home from work. I'll be heading out soon to harvest some lettuce from our garden for a salad tonight.
Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
Mail and the blog things folder on my laptop to get some fodder to blog about (this is it).
What are you wearing?
What? What kind of pervy meme is this?
Did you dream last night?
Yep, but I have a hard time remembering them for long periods of time (i.e. past the morning). I did however have a dream the other day about a dead kid falling out of our garage loft and me being really late for work. It was odd.
When did you last laugh?
About 20 minutes ago while chatting with my friend on the phone. I also laughed a bunch at work today with both my colleagues and my students.
What is on the walls of the room you are in?
A shelf system to plug our peripherals in and display some art on, a vintage mirror with a Vogue painting by Benito on it, another shelf for mail, a large bulletin board for all sorts of stuff, and a framed piece I had in a local art show last summer.
Seen anything weird lately?
The giant stag beetle (yes it looked like that first picture) that was stuck between the screen and the glass in our dining room window. That was last Friday, which was the anniversary of the death of the gentleman who owned the house before us (read this for why that matters, 4th paragraph). I called it a death beetle and was sure to set it free.
What do you think of this quiz?
I think this is a dumb, narcissistic question to ask.
What is the last film you saw?
Airplane—the Don't call me Shirley edition
If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
My way out of debt.
If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
The cost of my coffee at my favorite coffee shop. Wait...I think crime. Less crime would be good on so many levels and would have a ripple effect on everything else. That or humanity in general. People can be such assholes sometimes.

VoF: "more human kindness". That's exactly what I meant when I said humanity in general. I'm appauled at how rude people are and how so many lack basic social skills.

Nobody said...

Yeah, people suck. I hate people.
