vacay

I'm so excited! Yesterday we finalized our plans for our big vacation this summer. We are heading to Arizona. Our friends Mitch and Kristin moved out there last summer and are really eager for us to come out there to see them. So eager in fact that they bought us 2 roundtrip tickets to fly out there and visit them. This will be the first time we've seen them since they moved. Well, that's not entirely true, we did see Kristin for a couple of hours when she was in town back in December. That hardly counts. We'll be flying out the beginning of August and will be gone for a week. Neither one of us has ever been to Arizona and we are really geeked about the trip.

Any Arizona-ites out there have suggestions on fun things to do? We'll be in the Scottsdale area.

Wow, sounds like a fun trip. I've never been there, but I have flown over it once!

Oh, baby, I can totally recommend some things to do! I live only a mile outside of Scottsdale city limits, and lived there for the past 6 years.

Let me know what sort of stuff you like to do... shopping, music, outdoor stuff, touristy AZ-themed stuff, type of food you like...and I can give you some recommendations. Send me an e-mail: tulip675@hotmail.com.

Can you get out of town for a day or so? If you can I totally recommend going north an hour and a half to Sedona and Jerome. It's beautiful (and not as hot!)

Kelwhy—Both the buildings are still there, but they've changed hands (and personas) many times. I don't know what they are right now.

Chuck—Good for you. ;)

Lisa—I was totally looking in your direction when I wrote that. I'm pretty open to doing whatever. I'd rather have too much to do than nothing. Have you ever been to Alice Cooper'stown? I'd also like to go to Cosanti or the Frank Lloyd Wright building.
