One plant each of green peppers, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, and big boy variety tomatoes, 4 small jalepeno plants and 4 cucumber plants. All in a 7 by 10 foot area. That's it.

Mad Ethel—Our pepper only produced one fruit at first, but once we picked it, the plant went wild. I think it was focusing all it's energy on the one and once that was gone it sort of regrouped.

fantastagirl, mel, and melissa—Homegrown tomatoes are the best!

Dutchy—I don't think they would ship well. Or it would cost you a fortune for my fabulous recipes. ;)

Fab & Blogarita—Thanks!Holly {ArtistMotherTeacher}https://www.blogger.com/profile/04105646535868814667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15222220.post-1157805283462500602006-09-09T08:34:00.000-04:002006-09-09T08:34:00.000-04:00I am jealous! I'm envious of your green peppers.

Our six tomato plants have yielded 35 lbs so far, and there looks like about 5-10 more lbs. before they are completely done. We had all the jalapenos we could dream of using, but our green peppers didn't do a thing. Not even one little pepper.

Except for the tomatoes we sliced for eating plain, the rest were (or will be) made into salsa!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15222220.post-1157770571396630242006-09-08T22:56:00.000-04:002006-09-08T22:56:00.000-04:00yummy....I love fresh tomatoes - and there is noth...yummy....I love fresh tomatoes - and there is nothing like tomatoes from the garden.Fantastagirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02415501560624761755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15222220.post-1157758209420034562006-09-08T19:30:00.000-04:002006-09-08T19:30:00.000-04:00What is your trick with the bell peppers?
