Somebody make me a margarita, please.

What a week. I don’t know what it is about college students but they are always so needy at the end of the quarter. It’s like they wait and wait to do their work and then they panic at the eleventh hour. Now, not all my students are this way and really I am happy to help them—after all that is my job—but it never fails that somebody is going to need my help on my day off. Add to that the fact that our Design Student Exhibition opened tonight and you have on your hands one busy little pixie.

The good news is, the week is over and next week is finals week. Since all my classes met on Monday/Wednesday this quarter, I only have finals on Monday next week. Then I have 2 weeks off before summer quarter starts. Which kicks ass.

I’ll still have work to do, I just don’t have to go out to the college and conduct classes.
No alarm clock to dictate when I get up and jeans and t-shirts everyday if I want.
I can’t wait.

And...if I really wanted to, I could be a lawn-chair queen, just like this lovely lady.

I won't, but I could.

You know, the drink between her big floppy breasts and the sweat-soaked (and so appropriate) Burger King crown just weren't enough... it's that tattoo above her right floppy breast that really set me apoint.

Have a great weekend, and enjoy that margarita.

Dave—she is one classy lady.

Sarah—there is no way my students could wait until the last day to start, but they do wait that long to finish the work.

Mr. Fab—I threw that in for all you gents, thought you guys might like her.

please, please don't turn into a lawn chair queen.

OR,

if you must, be the best damned thinnest most beautiful one ever.
